Fitness Racing Calendar - GRYTR
What is GRYTR?
GRYTR is a fitness race that can be done anywhere in the world, on your schedule. It is designed to test your functional strength, speed, and endurance with simple exercises that are anything but easy.
The race is composed of three phases that must be completed during the specified month-long race window (April, July, October). You choose the order of the phases and where you would like to perform them.
The GRYTR Race Format
The race is broken down into three phases - endurance, hybrid, and strength, with three race distances available (sprint, full, and ultra).
To earn your Dragon Patch, complete all three phases within 12 hours.
Sprint Distances:
Endurance Phase
- 2k ski-erg
- 2k row
- 2k run
Hybrid Phase
- 800m run
- 50 pullups
- 800m run
- 50 burpees
- 800m run
- 50 weighted lunges (23kg/18kg)
- 800m run
- 50 thrusters (9kg/4.5kg)
Strength Phase
- Clean and press 1 ton (2000 lbs or 907kg)
Full Distances:
Endurance Phase
- 5k ski-erg
- 5k row
- 5k run
Hybrid Phase - 2 rounds
- 800m run
- 50 pullups
- 800m run
- 50 burpees
- 800m run
- 50 weighted lunges (23kg/18kg)
- 800m run
- 50 thrusters (9kg/4.5kg)
Strength Phase
- Clean and press 2 tons (4000 lbs or 1814kg)
Ultra Distances:
Endurance Phase - 2 rounds
- 5k ski-erg
- 5k row
- 5k run
Hybrid Phase - 4 rounds
- 800m run
- 50 pullups
- 800m run
- 50 burpees
- 800m run
- 50 weighted lunges (23kg/18kg)
- 800m run
- 50 thrusters (9kg/4.5kg)
Strength Phase
- Clean and press 4 tons (8000 lbs or 3628kg)
