What is TRYKA?

TRYKA is an Irish-founded hybrid fitness race league designed for all levels, from complete beginners to elite athletes. Launched in Ireland in 2024, TRYKA expanded to the UK in 2026 with its London debut at ExCeL.

Race format

The signature TRYKA format consists of 8 x 800m runs alternating with 9 functional fitness stations, completed against the clock. A shorter beginner-friendly variant called the TRYKA 500 uses 500m runs and modified workout targets.

Categories

Open Division (all fitness levels), Pro Division (heavier weights, competitive), Relay Division (teams of 2 or 4 sharing the workload), and a Beginner Race using the TRYKA 500 format with 500m runs.

Where it runs

Originally based in Dublin, Ireland. UK events launched in 2026 with London (ExCeL, September 2026) as the fifth round of the 2025–26 season. A Grand Finale is held in Lisbon, Portugal each year.
